Alex James Hepper, age 17, of Huron,  passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, in Huron.

A private family service was held on Saturday, March 29, at the First Presbyterian Church in Huron, SD.

His visitation was held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, March 28, at the Kuhler Funeral Home, with a prayer service to begin at 6:00 PM.

Alex James Hepper, the son of Brad and Lisa (Lentz) Hepper, was born on October 10, 2007, in Huron.  He attended school in Huron.

Alex worked at McDonald's and often enjoyed working some shifts with his big sister, Josalyn.

Alex was a wrestler for the Huron High School Tigers and enjoyed going to the Nordby Center. He enjoyed listening to music, driving around town, and hanging out with friends. Alex loved spending time outdoors swimming at both the lake and Splash Central as well as biking around town.

Alex enjoyed playing video games and teaching his sister, Carlie how to play the racing games. Alex loved exotic cars, especially the Lamborghini Gallardo, which he tried his hardest to get for his birthday and Christmas this past year.

Grateful for having shared in Alex's life are his parents, Brad and Lisa Hepper of Huron; his sisters, Josalyn and Carlie Hepper, also of Huron; his grandparents, Greg and Donna Hepper and Chuck and Penny Lentz, all of Huron; his aunts and uncles, Jennifer and Mike Law, Jason (Tyra) Lentz, Amanda Lentz and Dillon Lentz; his great-grandmother, Edith Hepper; and several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his other great-grandparents.
