Agnes Hofer, age 90, of Huron, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022, under hospice care at the Huron Regional Medical Center.
Her funeral service was held at 10:30 AM, Friday, December 30 at Prairie Bible Church, rural Carpenter. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Her service was live-streamed through the church's website.
Visitation was held from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 29, with her family present from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kuhler Funeral Home.

Agnes Sarah Glanzer was born on a farm near Dolton, South Dakota, to Joseph S. and Susan (Hofer) Glanzer on January 14, 1932. She attended a rural school and then moved to Bridgewater when she was in the 7th grade. She graduated from Bridgewater High School. Agnes accepted Jesus as her Savior at Byron Bible Camp at the age of 16.
Agnes married Michael M. Waldner in 1953. Mike and Agnes lived on a farm just north of Carpenter where they enjoyed 47 years of farm life together. Mike passed away in 2000.
Agnes loved being a farm wife, gardening, handiwork, cooking, being involved in community Bible Studies, and raising her family. She also loved music and many of her favorite memories involved various music ministries at Prairie Bible Church.
She married Ben Hofer in 2002, and they made their home in Huron. Ben passed away in 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Mike and Ben; her parents; one grandson-in-law, Tim Bauslaugh; Ben's son-in-law, Dale Winter; and Bens grandson, David Winter; and all her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
She is survived by her four children, Darlo Waldner, Loretha (Dennis) Webber, Galen (Kim) Waldner and Chad (Cindy) Waldner; nine grandchildren, Michael Webber, Emily (Josh) Gulbrandson, Sara (Mark) Trampe, Kristin (Justin) Johnson, Katie (Erik) Lohmann and Alex, Morgan, Allison and Amanda Waldner; and ten great-grandchildren, Ian and Isaiah Gulbrandson, Donovan, Vivian and Conrad Trampe, Malachi, Ainsley and Robby Bauslaugh, and Vera and John Lohmann.
Agnes is also survived by one brother, Joe (Cynthia) Glanzer; many nieces and nephews; and Ben's three children, Lowell (Nancy) Hofer, Darla (Harold) Loewen and Rachel Winter and their families.
