Virginia Zepp

Virginia May Zepp, age 87, of Virgil, died Monday, December 13, 2010, at her home.  A memorial service will be held at a later date in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with burial in the Delville Cemetery in Perry County, Pennsylvania.

Virginia May Zepp was born to William Lee and Amelia (Cope) Sterner May 5, 1923 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  She completed her education in Duncannon, Pennsylvania. 

On March 21, 1941, she married Clyde G. Zepp.  They lived in the Duncannon, area on various farms.  They moved a lot, and after Clyde’s death in 1993, Virginia eventually made her home in Huron.  She enjoyed puzzles, playing bingo, and looking for fossils, rocks and seashells. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clyde G. Zepp; her daughter, Mary Ann; a grandson, Gregory; a brother, Lee; and a sister, Bell.

Virginia is survived by three children, Clyde “Skip” (Dottie) Zepp of Wessington, Jerry (Karen) Zepp of Rapid City, and Frank (Brenda) Zepp of Virgil; eleven grandchildren, Brian, Chris, Angie, Rick, Jamie, Jennifer, Shannon, April, Steve, Thad and Shane; twenty great-grandchildren, Dayton, Macy, Chance, Rhett, Tanner, Taylor, Eric, Taylor, Sydney, Ethan, Olivia, Kyle, Brenden, Kolton, Tyler, Cody, Hunter, Wyatt, Bailey and Dawson; two great-great-grandchildren, Jimmy and Brendon; one sister, Patricia (Donald) Harbold of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; and two nieces, Kathy Wrightstone and Tracy Rate.
