Allerdings, age 91, of Huron, died Friday, February 24, 2012, at the SunQuest Health Care Center.  Her funeral service was at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 2nd, the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Tom Brantner officiating.  Burial was at the Lebanon Cemetery.

Lydia Elizebeth Allerdings was born September 5, 1920, to George and Barbara (Spitzer) Allerdings at Akaska, South Dakota.  She lived with her parents and moved with them to Tolstoy in 1960.  In 1986 she and her mother moved to Huron.

Lydia was a member of the Tolstoy Church of God and became a member of the First Assembly of God Church when she moved to Huron.  In 1989, Lydia moved into the Campus Apartments and was member of the Huron Area Senior Center and the Huron Adult Day Care.  She worked as a volunteer at the SunQuest Health Care Center for a number of years.  In 2008, she became a resident of the SunQuest Health Care Center.  Lydia enjoyed reading and embroidering.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ottillie and Erna; and five brothers, Arthur Frederick, Arthur George, Leo, Edwin and Leslie.

Grateful for having shared in her life are three brothers, Harold (Mag) Allerdings of Green Isles, Minnesota, Rueben (Delores) Allerdings of Huron and Marvin (Gladys) Allerdings of Huron; one sister, Edna Vail of Spearfish; one sister-in-law, Edith Allerdings of Huron; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.
