Joshua Sieler

Joshua Sieler,  27, of Sioux Falls, formerly of Yankton, Huron and Brookings, died Thursday, August 30, 2007, at Avera Heart Hospital of South Dakota.  His funeral service was at 10 AM Tuesday, September 4th, at the Huron Mission Church, 1779 Frank Ave. SE with the Rev. Richard Birr officiating.  Burial was in the Huron Mission Church Section of Ideal Cemetery in Huron.

Joshua Scott Sieler was born September 14, 1979, in Yankton, South Dakota to Art and Janet (Lundquist) Sieler.  He attended school in Yankton and Huron and graduated with highest honors from Huron High School in 1998 as a member of the National Honor Society. In high school he participated in football, weight lifting, track and basketball.  He was a 2005 graduate of South Dakota State University with a degree in Business Economics.  Currently, he was working as an account specialist for CitiBank in Sioux Falls. 

Josh loved hunting, fishing, water sports, and traveling, and loved to sing for friends and family.  He will be best remembered for his outgoing personality and great sense of humor. 

He is survived by his parents, Art and Janet Sieler of Huron; his sisters, Jennifer Barry, Stephanie (Andy) Bernatow, and Heather (Ryan) Goehner, two nieces, Michaela and Brooklyn, and two nephews, Mitchell and Luke, all of Yankton; his maternal grandparents, Alden and Joyce Lundquist of Beresford; and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ruben and Evelyn Sieler; two uncles, Roy Sieler and Dale Sieler; and one aunt, Caroline King.
