Ellerslie Ann Weber, age 94, of Huron, died Saturday, April 19, 2008, at the Violet Tschetter Memorial Home.  Her funeral service was 10:30 AM, Wednesday, April 23rd at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jonathan Boehne officiating.  Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery. 

Ellerslie Ann Weber was born October 19, 1913, to Lyman and Sadie Jane (Coffaa) Parkhurst at Huron.  She grew up at Huron and attended school here.

Ann married Francis Johnson together they farmed in the Huron area until Francis’ passing. Five years later, Ann married Howard Weber and they farmed in the Yale area.  Following Howard’s death, Ann moved to Denver, then to Chicago where she worked for Western Electric repairing telephones.  Ann retired at the age of 65, and moved back to Huron. 

Ann was a member of the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and the Huron Area Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; three children, William, Wilma and Bernard; one grandson, Troy Johnson; six brothers, Basil, Lee, William, Alex, Dell and Vern Parkhurst; and two sisters, Alice Esades and Bernice Spain.

Grateful for having shared her life are her two sons, Francis J.R. Johnson and his special friend, Bonnie Kenney of St. Charles, Illinois and Kenneth Johnson and his special friend, Linda Stewart of Denver, Colorado; one daughter, Shirley Wheeler and her special friend, Kathy Morgan of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; and one sister and her husband, Viola and Robert Fuller of Bonilla.
