Delores Pullman

Delores Pullman, age 82, of Huron, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at her home. Her funeral service was 10:30 AM Saturday, March 17th, at the Bethesda Church with the Rev. Philip Plett officiating. Burial was in the Bethel Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were her dear grandchildren.

Delores Genevieve Gross was born on August 19, 1924, at Yale, South Dakota to Jake P. and Lydia (Waltz) Gross. She attended school at Yale, and graduated from Yale High School in 1942. On June 2, 1942, Delores married Menno Pullman at Bethel Church, rural Yale. Following their marriage, they farmed in the Yale area. She also faithfully served with her husband at several Mennonite churches including Fairfield, Bethel, Ebenezer, Bethesda and Hutterthal, and also the Presbyterian churches including Bancroft, Yale, and Manchester. She was a member of Bethel Mennonite Church until moving to Huron in 1975, and was a current member of Bethesda Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Menno in November of 1981; and her parents.

Grateful for having shared her life are her three daughters, Jerolyn (Roger) Glanzer of Surprise, Arizona, Tanya (Keith) Glanzer of Carpenter, and Laurie (Alan) Hamm of Huron; seven grandchildren, Todd (Dawn) Glanzer, Jory (Teri) Glanzer, Chad (Joni) Glanzer, Sheri (Tim) Gross, Michelle Hamm, Brenten Hamm and Jordan Hamm; ten great grandchildren, Tyler, Lee, Ryan, and Cole Glanzer, Becca, Ashley, Kyle, and Christa Glanzer, and Joshua and Issac Gross; two step-great grandchildren, Brock and Megan Madsen; one sister, LaVonne (Allen) Hofer of Tea; and several nieces and nephews.
