Bryan Macauley photoBryan Macauley, age 21, of Carpenter, died Sunday, March 14, 2010.  His funeral service was at 1:00 PM, Monday, March 22nd at the Bethel Church with Rev. Jeremiah Betron officiating.  Burial will be held in Oregon.

David Bryan Macauley was born November 7, 1988, to Glen and Lissa (Johnson) Macauley at Eugene, Oregon.  Bryan attended grade school in Cavour and middle school in Huron.  He then moved to Oregon where he attended middle school and high school.  Bryan returned to the Huron area in May 2008.

Bryan enjoyed his work with Mike Sarahan Roofing.  He also helped with farming at Kenroy Wipf’s and his dad’s farm near Carpenter.

Bryan’s hobbies included hunting, playing video games, watching movies and working with animals.  He cherished gifts given to him.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Martha Macauley; maternal grandfather, Basil Eckburg; step-grandparents, Elmer and Margaret Kludt; special daughter, Harley Stahl; and one nephew, Ethan Songer.

Grateful for having shared in his life are his fiance, Fawn Stahl of Huron; his father, Glen (Betty) Macauley of Carpenter; his mother, Lissa (Wyatt) Tredwell of Cottage Grove, Oregon; two brothers, twin Eric Macauley of Huron and Mesha (Tiffany) Macauley who is serving in Iraq; four step-brothers, Casper (Sara) Hofer of Huron, Toby (Becky) Hofer of Des Moines, Iowa, Kowell Hofer of Huron, and Derrick Hofer of Pierre; one step-sister, Jena (Jesse) Hauk of Longmont, Colorado; two nephews; one niece; paternal grandfather, Ed (Mamie) Macauley of Cottage Grove, Oregon; maternal grandmother, Mari Eckburg of Creswell, Oregon; paternal great-grandmother, Ruth Trautman of Huron; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
