Barry Whipkey officiating.  Burial was in Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Darold F. Eckmann was born December 6, 1927, to Fred and Mary (Haigh) Eckmann at Huron.  He graduated from Cavour High School.

On December 28, 1947, Darold married Ila F. He was an active member of the Cavour Methodist Church and then the Riverview Methodist Church.  He served on many church committees, taught Sunday school and was member of the United Methodist Men.

Darold always enjoyed music.  He played the cornet with the Iroquois City Band, helped organize the barbershop chorus in Huron, sang in the church choir and with the Huron Senior Center Silvertones.  While living at SunQuest Health Care Center, he could be found often playing the piano for the other residents.

Darold enjoyed coffee time with his many friends.
