Carrol Rodman

Carrol Rodman, age 55, of Mitchell and formerly of Huron, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at her home.  Her funeral service was at 3 PM Thursday, September 13th at the First United Methodist Church in Huron with Pastor Derek Baum officiating.  Burial was in the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. 

Carrol Ann Rasmussen was born December 24, 1951, in De Smet, South Dakota to Charles and Patricia (Moilan) Rasmussen.  She grew up in Iroquois and graduated from Iroquois High School in 1970. 

Carrol moved to the Black Hills and worked out there for several years.  She married Hans Kramer and they were later divorced.  She moved to Huron in the early eighties, where she was employed by the Huron School District as a custodian at Washington Elementary School for several years.  She married Scott Rodman on July 2, 1993, at Huron.  They moved to Mitchell in the Fall of 2006.

Carol was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Huron.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Alan Rasmussen; a nephew, D.J. Smith; and her son, Adam Kramer.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Scott Rodman of Mitchell; her son, Josh Kramer and special friend Stephanie of Huron; two grandchildren, Morgan and Piper of Huron; three brothers, Dennis Rasmussen of Greenfield, Wisconsin, Ronald (Dianne) Rasmussen of Mosinee, Wisconsin,, and Richard (Diana) Rasmussen of Farmington, Minnesota; and two sisters, Sharleen (Don) Smith of Huron, Laureen (Scott) Wimberly of  Apopka Florida, and sister-in-law, Sue Rasmussen of Kaukana, Wisconsin, and many nieces and nephews.
