Tanya Steahr, age 28, of Huron, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at her residence. She was cremated, and a celebration of her life was held from 1 to 4 PM Monday, November 23rd at the Kuhler Funeral Home.
Tanya Lynn Crandall was born July 12, 1981, to John Charles and Sonja K. (Pfeifle) Crandall, Sr. in Alexandria, Minnesota. She moved with her family to Freeman, South Dakota in 1991 and received her education there.
On February 20, 2004, she married Lysle Steahr at Freeman. She enjoyed cooking, four-wheeling, her pet dog and cat, and computers. The joy of her life was her son, Kamron.
Tanya’s grandparents preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Lysle Steahr of Huron; her son, Kamron Nardello Crandall of Huron; her father, John Crandall, Sr. of Wadena, Minnesota; her mother, Sonja (Greg) Krueger of Alpena; her brother, John (Jennifer) Crandall, Jr. of Lame Deer, Montana; and her sister, Tina (Josh) Ashman of Mitchell.
