Brian Wayne Foss
Brian W. Foss, age 48, of Huron, died peacefully at home under hospice care on Saturday, December 20, 2008, after a six month battle with cancer. His funeral service was 2:30 PM Monday, December 22, 2008 at the Huron Christian Church with Rev. Alan Wager officiating. A second funeral service was at 2 PM Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Moorhead, Minnesota with Rev. Dan Megorden officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fargo, North Dakota. Memorials may be directed to the Huron Regional Medical Center Hospice or the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Bell Tower fund. Moorhead arrangements are under the direction of the Wright Funeral Home.
Brian Wayne Foss was born February 18, 1960, in Moorhead, Minnesota to Edwin and Elsie (Moilanen) Foss. He graduated from Moorhead High School in 1978, and later attended Moorhead State University. He spent time in car sales and construction before going into apartment management for several years. In 1993, Brian moved to Huron, South Dakota to be construction manager for several condo and apartment projects. He also spent time in real estate.
Brian always had a good sense of humor and enjoyed visiting with all his friends in Huron and Fargo-Moorhead. A special love of cars was Brian’s main hobby. He always looked forward to fishing trips with family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Ed and Elsie Foss, of Fargo, North Dakota, his sister, Vera and her husband James Neiman of Fargo, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
